Netscape Messenger

Step by Step Setup Procedure

	1. Load up Netscape Messenger (You DON’T need to be online!). Left Click the Edit menu and select Preferences.>
	2. The preferences screen will appear as shown.>
	3. Left click on the Identify option located below the Mail & Newsgroups section.>
	4. On this screen enter your name or nick name in the "Your name" section, enter your email address in the "Email address" section.>
	5. Left click on the Mail Servers option located below the Mail & Newsgroups section.>
	6. In the Incoming Mail servers section, click on the Add button.>
	7. On this screen you need to enter the following:> Server Name: mail.ix.net.au Server Type: POP3 Server User Name: Your login name>
	8. On the same screen, in the Outgoing Mail Server section, enter the following:> Outgoing (SMTP) server: mail.ix.net.au> Outgoing mail server user name: Your login name>
	9. Click OK to end the setup>
