Setting up Eudora
Before you start: If you have more than one Internet Express e-mail account that needs to be setup in Eudora please follow the "Multiple Account Setup Guide".
You should only proceed if one of the following applies to you:
You only have a single Internet Express e-mail account.
or
You have no accounts created in Eudora. "New Account"
or
You have more than one e-mail account but, the others are not Internet Express accounts.
Now just follow the steps outlined below: (images will be supplied by the 02/03/05)
Eudora E-mail Client
1. Load Eudora.
2. Select Tools -> Personalities.
3. Right Click on then select Properties.
4. Change Login Name: @ix.net.au (Currently: only).
5. Change SMTP Server: smtp.ix.net.au (Currently: mail.ix.net.au).
5. Select top tab named "Incoming Mail".
6. Change Server: pop3.ix.net.au (Currently: mail.ix.net.au).
7. Ensure Configuration: POP button is selected.
8. Click OK.
9. Repeat above processes if you have multiple @ix.net.au e-mail addresses only.
